Annual MTB Demo has been POSTPONED

Unfortunately, our Annual Demo Day and the MORE Summer Festival scheduled for this Sat June 23rd, will need to be rescheduled for a future date, hoping for sometime in July.

We've been very much looking forward to an exciting Demo and Summer Festival, however, the recent heavy rains and flooding have made Meadowood and most of the regional trail systems too muddy and unsafe to ride. In addition, there is a significant chance of thunderstorms on Saturday.

We do apologize for having to postpone at the last minute, but Spokes Etc. and MORE feels that this is the best decision to make.

The Demo Day and Summer Festival will both be rescheduled.  Once we have that date locked down we will share it with all of you. Stay tuned!

Demo the Latest In MTB Technology

We'll have both Specialized and Trek on hand, a first for the DC area, offering their latest and greatest in mountain bikes(and a couple of gravel bikes!) for everyone to demo! You've heard all the buzz about the newly designed 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper?  It'll be here, ready for demos! There will also be a fleet of electric mountain bikes from both Specialized and Trek - some of THE most fun bikes to throw your leg over!  Been thinking about that next mountain bike purchase but haven't been able to test ride in a real world scenario?  Here's your chance! Ride the industry's latest, in the dirt, and see what bike is best for you!

Reps from Shimano, MORE, SRAM, Gore, etc.

Interested in checking out the lastest from Shimano and SRAM? We'll have reps on hand from both companies demonstrating their latest in tech! Check out the latest in car racks from Saris, clothing technology from Pearl Izumi and Gore Bike wear, and more!

Mid-Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts (MORE) will also be co-hosting this years event, with their annual Summer Festival, bringing even more fun to this years Demo! They'll be helping lead rides and answering any and all questions about their development of the trails at Meadowood and the enormous efforts they put into building and maintaining all of our favorite mountain bike trails in the DC/Baltimore area. Be sure to say "Thank You!" to MORE for everything they've been doing since 1992!

We'll be grilling food and providing cold beer from Caboose Brewing, all FREE of charge! Bring the whole family, bikes and come out and have fun on Sat. June 23rd, from 10am-4pm!

All Demo Bike riders will need to have a valid ID, credit card, and helmet in order to test ride. If you ride with clipless pedals currently, please bring your shoes and pedals.  We will have standard platform pedals for anyone not riding clipless.

Interested in attending?  Help us keep track of attendance and let us know on Facebook
