Developed in close coordination with the cobbles-racing master, Fabian Cancellara, this feather-weight carbon rocket offers a rear IsoSpeed system that allows you to adjust and dial in the compliance based on your terrain, riding style, and personal preference. Taking endurance-oriented comfort even further, Trek adds IsoSpeed to the front end, decoupling the steerer tube from the head tube and increasing compliance by 10%.
The Domane SLR 9 is built with Trek's premier 600 series OCLV carbon, with a wide BB90 bottom bracket that directs all your power to the road so that you’re as efficient as you are comfortable. Bontrager's tubeless-ready Aeulus 3 carbon wheels and 28mm-wide R3 tires offer a supple grip through sweeping descents and strength across pock-marked country roads. A full SRAM RED eTap wireless electronic drivetrain gives you perfect, effortless shifting and enough range to tackle the most daunting mountain passes, while powerful direct mount brakes minimize weight and control speed. Integrated into the frame, just below the bottle cage mount, the Domane Control Center houses the internal eTap battery. Bontrager provided their own touch to Trek’s long-distance horse with an IsoCore handlebar. A continuous layer of thermoplastic elastomer encased in OCLV carbon reduces high-frequency vibration to keep your hands and shoulders comfortable, even on long stretches rough roads. The Domane SLR incorporates hidden fender mounts for those epic Rule #9 days, a 3S chain keeper for confidence across rough roads, and DuoTrap S integration for sleek data transmission.
Front IsoSpeed provides an additional 10% of front-end compliance over a traditional road bike, reducing hard hits and vibration without sacrificing efficiency or control.
Adjustable IsoSpeed Rear
Adjustable rear IsoSpeed allows you to fine-tune your compliance level to suit your body, ride style, and terrain, providing a greater range of compliance than the previous Domane.
Bontrager’s IsoCore handlebar improves damping of high-frequency vibrations. A continuous inner layer encased in OCLV Carbon reduces vibrations by 20% over standard carbon handlebars.
At the heart of the new Domane is an integrated control center that houses the battery port for electronic drivetrains. The control center is tucked into the downtube for accessibility, aerodynamics, and ease of use.

BB90 is the widest bottom bracket standard currently available on a road bike. Trek has molded bearing cups directly into the carbon of the frame to allow easy, drop-in bearing installation. This adds up to a stiff and strong junction with seat tube, down tube, and bottom bracket for maximum power transfer with simple maintenance.

Full Disclosure, IAM 67, divorced, so I have several bikes, including a Specialized Roubaix with Campy Record EPS. So I am blessed to have some disposable income. I had brought my Roubaix in for a minor repair and the owner of the shop had his Trek Domaine sitting there. It's a beautiful bike, understated, but really nice. He said, "take it for a spin." I did and well, the rest is history. This bike is worth every penny I paid. The SRAM eTap is intuitive and smooth as glass. The wider tires provide much more comfort and speed than the 23s I am use to. If you take a test ride on this bike, you will buy one.
